Sorry for being missing lately. A lot has been going on and I’m finally getting back to my routine. I hope everyone had a great and safe 4th! I had a lovely mini vacation in Northern California and attended a wedding. Summer weddings are always so pretty, aren’t they? I can’t wait to show some of the photos that we took at the wedding.
I have coworkers scattered throughout the US and everyone has been complaining about the hot/humid/rainy weather on our teleconference calls. I, on the other hand, just stay quiet while I smile looking outside at the mid 70’s temps and light breeze. *evil grin*. However, the temps started to go up a bit and it causes the the office air-condition to go on full blast! As a result, I need to dress for cooler temps inside the office but not bake when I leave the office for lunch. My solution is dresses where I can throw on a blazer!
Above is one of my new favorite dress purchases. It bought it from Piperlime a few months ago and love the material and colors. It hugs my body in the right places without being inappropriately tight. The colors are great for the warmer seasons and I can easily transition this into Fall. I pair these types of dresses with a simple nude pump. For a long time, I thought I only needed a pair of black pumps as part of my office staple, however, I quickly learned how versatile nude pumps are.
I own the Christian Louboutin Simple 100 pumps. I first saw them on Tiffany from I am Style-ish. She mentioned how comfortable they are and I loved how versatile they looked. At the end, I purchased them and they were surprisingly comfortable. After three years, I still wear them all the time. Anyhow, I would love to hear about some of your favorite nude pumps and some of your favorite office dresses for the summer.
